As we all know soon after Christmas and the end of the year festivities in Haiti people started talking about Kanaval. For so many young Artist and underground bands,Kanaval is a chance for them to make an impact on the media so they can get some air plays that can open some doors for them. This is the time and they don’t sleep on it so they some of them start working on their kanaval song a few month before the end of each years. Kanaval is also for some big name band or artist in the HMI to make a comeback if they have an off year. Now that December is over Kanaval talk is everywhere. The mayor of Port-Au-Prince the capital of Haiti Mr Youri Chevry announce this year 3 days kanaval will held on March 3rd to March 5th 2019. And the therm for this year Kanaval is “Respekte Lavi. Rt would like to wish everybody Happy Kanaval(Carnival) already!
